Overview: Iconic athletic brand seeks senior designer to bring design talent, innovative thinking and technical expertise to bear on active, lifestyle apparel primarily marketed through the sporting goods and department store channels. In this role, you will also mentor members of the design team.
REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in the active apparel industry; in depth knowledge of costing, performance fabrications and fit; a successful track record which demonstrates thorough knowledge of current active wear and performance apparel trends & consumer; ability to deliver technical product on time, on spec and on budget; supervisory experience; the ability to work in a cross functional environment and build consensus for ideas and designs.
