Overview: Growing athletic brand seeks Product leader for Performance categories. Will be responsible for creating and managing the product line strategy & execution seasonally. Research and analyze markets, consumers and competitors creating opportunities for growth and brand enhancement. Work with and direct the category management teams to achieve revenue and profit plans while optimizing SKU productivity. Manage & mentor Assistant Product Managers and Product Specialists.
Qualifications: A successful track record with eight (8) plus years of sports branded footwear product experience; some athletic apparel experience may be helpful. Intimate knowledge of the global athletic footwear market. The ability to analyze market conditions/needs/opportunities; synthesize information into workable plans. Excellent working knowledge of costing, materials, design, development and manufacturing. Must have the ability to present and communicate strategy internally to staff and management and externally to sales organization and retail communities worldwide. Ability to speak and understand Mandarin a big plus but not a requirement.
